hmm i just did 3 posts on blogger but i decided to drop by and join in the lj flood of orientation posts!
i've come to the realisation that i really like the feeling of being a junior; there's just something exciting about being rah-rahed to do house/school cheers. or to have a whole bunch of people barely older than yourself trying to teach you how to dance a kooky dance, haha!

the ogls are way fabulous you can totally tell that they all sacrificed like their dec hols to plan a kickass orientation for us - storyline, games, external activity, song&dance etc etc - MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF THEM!!!! <3

oh and before i go i MUST add that their sun dance is seriously too adorable and i love how all the ogls look so enthu & happy doing it. watching them never fails to make me smile :)

AHAHA hi folks i can't believe i'm here instead of glasssplintersss but everyone's been doing 2008 posts on lj! so i thought i'd do a short dedication thingy to my bffs for making my 2008 so awesome :) in no particular order...

-cat. i am not going to call you sepulchralice! anyway, i'm glad we're best f(r)iends. you are so weird and silly but somehow also strangely deep when it calls for it. HAHA. i think it's quite cool how we can talk about anything, from God to twilight! *suppresses grin* and i will always associate fish&co with you because we keep eating there xD

-cherie. ~~for being the best doggie ever.~~ you're gonna be my bridesmaid someday hahaha seriously. you're v fun to be around - "party all night long" lololol - and you will be my weirdest and best friend forever. no one can outweird you :D (this is a compliment!) yeaaa you rock doggie! i hope we get jobs soon leh why doesn't anyone want to hire us?!

-sihui, for always being a dear and saying all the right stuff at the right times :) your house is teh coolest because you have a huge screen and a seemingly unending supply of calbee hot n spicy chips! i hope you get well soon i will pray for your eye!

-mavis! long bus rides home (and to school too) were like 100000 times better with you haha. i miss the times when we went to the pool not to swim but just to talk crap. (it was never intentional though) actually you are really weird too, i mean we actually have a pact to slap whoever gets a ******** first infinitely??? o_O ooh and thanks for all those fantasy books you lent me!

-sarah. i know you don't want to be my bff because i allegedly can't keep the "forever" part! haha. i've known you for *counts* omg 9 years. i think we were close in p2, but that is a distant, fuzzy memory... anyway yay i'm really happy that i got to know you better this yr :D haha and you definitely win some award for having the messiest room xD

1. ONE OF YOUR SCARS, HOW DID YOU GET IT?
haha damn, all my scars are pretty fascinating. let me tell you about the scar on my thigh!!! it used to be really high up so it was quite indecent to show it. but somehow I grew longer and now it's visible when I wear pe shorts. anyway it all started on a sunday evening when my parents brought my sister and I to a cell group meeting on a roof of all places. there was a barbecue and some guy was playing a guitar. (I vaguely recall cowboy hats and booze as well but it's probably because I watched too many saturday night movies where campfires and guitars always were hand in hand with rugged Aussie men crooning in boleros or something.)

so it was late at night when it ended and I was a total zombie (couldn't walk in a straight line etc). after taking about thirty steps on dark patches which felt like grass I continued walking with more ease and somehow landed in a half-open drain =( so much for induction. of course, it hurt like a ******* bizzitch and I couldn't walk properly on Monday so I got to pon school, HA!! and while healing my mum told me I couldn't eat soya sauce anymore because it would leave scars and that freaked me out quite a bit. all the same, it left three long white scars (which has faded to one) -_-

haha and I remember writing about that for a compo and ending off with a cheesy line about it being unforgettable. to my great annoyance, mrs tong told me I shouldn't be so sure of it being unforgettable because in 70 years I will probably get dementia or something. hahaha oh wtf primary school.

shit, I shouldn't give such long answers. this is a hundred-question meme!!!

nothing. my glow-in-the-dark planet stickers fell off a gazillion years ago =(

I grind my teeth. it drove my mum mad when I was a kid, haha. but look how even they are now! *grin*
and I occasionally shout and cry in my sleep, especially when I'm on holiday.
haha and I KICK. HARD. unless I really really love you enough to will myself not to move =)

4. WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO?
Pop, R&B, rock. mostly Western but I'm learning to love Chinese songs haha. taiwan<3

10am or 1pm. either way it doesn't matter to me because at least it's not mere minutes into the 26th (which would mean I narrowly missed having my bday on CHRISTMAS!) haha

to spend my life as productively as possible. and I definitely don't mean studying; more like spending time with people I love and spending time on things I like doing because you never know when a chance for all that might be taken away from you. holidays overseas with my family (ESPECIALLY THE SNOWY ONES) and recently, my friends. Finland, TAIWAN, Japan, Korea, Australia, Switzerland, Paris, BALI, Malaysia. blooooody awesome & beautiful memories.
